Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any details or attachments you include. We use that information to respond, investigate a correction or rights request, and keep necessary correspondence. Email is processed by the email services involved in delivery; avoid sending sensitive information unless it is necessary and a suitable method has been agreed.
Technical information
Visiting a website involves technical requests. Our hosting and security services may process information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser information, and error or security events to deliver pages, protect the site, and troubleshoot problems.
Website searches use a query in the page URL. Search terms may therefore appear in browser history or ordinary server and security logs. Do not use site search to enter confidential information.
Cloudflare performance analytics
The current site loads a Cloudflare analytics beacon to measure page use and performance, such as page-load timing and technical browser or page characteristics. Cloudflare describes its Web Analytics service as not using analytics cookies or tracking visitors across websites. This is separate from any network or security processing used to deliver and protect the site.
See Cloudflare’s data collection documentation and Privacy Policy for its current practices.
Cookies and current site features
WordPress uses cookies for authorised administrative sign-in and related functions. Hosting or security services may also use essential mechanisms to maintain security and deliver the website. You can manage cookies using your browser, although blocking necessary cookies can affect sign-in or other functions.
The public site currently has no newsletter subscription form, checkout, public account-registration facility, or displayed comment-submission form. No Google Tag Manager container is configured in the current site setup. We will update this notice if new forms, advertising, or additional analytics services are introduced.
Service providers, sharing, and retention
Hosting, security, analytics, and email providers process information as needed to operate their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or to address a legitimate security or rights issue. We do not offer a personal-data sale feature through this website.
We keep correspondence only as needed for its purpose, follow-up, and applicable record-keeping requirements. Technical logs and provider-held data follow the relevant service settings and retention practices. We do not state a fixed universal retention period because those settings differ. Providers may process data in countries other than the one in which you live.
Your choices and requests
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other action concerning personal information. Email [email protected] with your request. We may need proportionate information to verify and understand it, and some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. You may also have a right to contact your local data-protection authority.
Children and changes
This is a general-audience baking website. We do not offer child accounts or knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it. Changes to this notice will be reflected in the date above.
